The difference is what happens after you stop recording. With Cameo you get a beautiful recording — 4K 60fps, Auto Zoom on clicks, Canvas Mode, overlays — and then you build the edit: placing zooms and typing moments by hand. With Cameo Director the first cut arrives already directed: Smart Zoom reads the screen and places every zoom, frame, and typing shot while you record, so editing becomes a quick review — adjust the shots you care about, add your captions, export. Publish weekly and that's hours back every month. Director is only available here, not on the App Store.
Can I upgrade from Cameo to Cameo Director later?
